Solo Concert

Michiel is known for his powerfull groovy style of playing.
He is inspired by rythmes from all over the world which he translates into pumping dance beats on the didge.

He mixes Indian rythmes with meditative relaxed music patterns and African drumbeats with hip hop, funk and even techno!

His goal is to approach a broad crowd with the sounds and possibilities of the didge. Therefore he often plays with a variety of bands and DJ’s and as a solo artist on a number of (international) festivals.

With 20 years of experience Michiel knowns how to involve the crowd with his playing. He takes them on a tour around the world and lets them dance. Because this is where the didge is meant for: dancing!
